Back to Brač!

A few days ago we went rafting again. We got to do things we didn't do last ime like paddling under waterfalls, I jumped off a small cliff, I paddled all the way and I felt AWESOME!!!

Yesterday we went back to Brač. On the way we watched a street performer and he was awesome! He could ride a unicycle whilst juggling with fire.

The day after we got back we went to a games arcade. I played basketball and I got 23 goals. I also played pinball and I won a tiny little rubber ball. Finally I played a car game where you tilt the board and try and get the ball into the last hole. If you are successful you win the ball.

Back to our usual routine now school, swim, lunch, Skype and dinner.  Two nights ago I stayed up until midnight watching a show called "Ibo I Clibo" (Croatian film name). It was like the Legend of Dick and Dom.

Our last week in the Omiš Riviera!!!

Last week we went to Dino park. There were bungee trampolines, inflatable balls that you run on water with, the biggest slide in the world, millions of bouncy castles, ball pits, bounties revenge (Josie came off screaming,) mechanical dinosaurs, trains and lots more.

My favourite was the water balls. They were almost impossible to run in because they were so slippery people kept spinning us around and you guest it… Josie was screaming again.

Then we went to a fortica called Starigrad in Omiš. It was the hardest climb up because the stairs were so steep and there were loads of stinging nettles.
Mum thought we would quit half way because Josie and Eliza were crying and screaming. People thought it was too noisy and climbed down. Mum and dad were extremely proud of us kids for making it up the Fortica....so steep and such a long climb.

Last night I went swimming at 8:30 PM. Therewere 5 dolphins and they kept jumping out of the water and bashing the water with their tails  like it was a feeding frenzy. There is also different fish at night there were  all these ones that were black and usually they are all silver. We had a spectacular sunset and a very bright half moon  It was really awesome.
I never think I will have this experience again.

Our weekend in Dubrovnik!!

Three days ago we went to Dubrovnik. On the way there we popped in to Ston which  is a town just out of Dubrovnik.  It is famous for its mussels. I ate  1 kg of them and we had this big caramel cake for dessert. They farm the mussels with gigantic nets so they wash into them. After The mussels me and dad walked a one km bridge it took a few hours.  It was almost completely vertical.

Then we arrived in Dubrovnik!!  To get there we had to go through another country called Bosnia and Herzegovina . When we got to Dubrovnik  I had a gigantic burek for breakfast. Then we went on a walk around the city walls. T here were 876 steps.  Everyone except me kept on crying and screaming (especially Eliza.)

The walls of Dubrovnik were made to defend the city from enemies since the 9th century. In the 1993 Serbia launched 2000 bombs at Dubrovnik in the home land war.
Every day we went to the same ice-cream man (Marko) because he can scoop the ice-cream …launch it up in the air …and catch it in the cone .  He can also get the whole ice cream and cone and flip it in the air.   He can even twirl the ice cream  in his hands.
On the last day we went on a pirate ship and went to three islands called the Elafiti Islands. On the first one we stayed for 50 minutes. Mum and dad had a coffee and we stayed in the park. On the second island we stayed for 1 hour and had a swim. Then we had lunch. I ordered chicken kebabs and salad. This was BBQ on the back of the boat.  On the third island we stayed for 3 hours  and had a swim in the only sand beach in Croatia.  There were lots of hermit crabs, starfish, crabs, and lots more!

THIS WAS THE BEST TIME IN CROATIA!!
